Pricing
My rate is $30-40/hr.
✴︎ 20% off a 3 hr session for any referral that leads to work, for both you and for the family you referred!
I like cash or check, but if you prefer digital payment, I use Stripe. You’ll be emailed an invoice, and I’ll also text you a link you can pay from your phone. Stripe accepts all major credit & debit cards, digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay, and lots of other options. I add the processing fee of 2.9% to the bill.
❂ other fees
-For errands, I add the federal mileage rate, which is currently at .70/mile.
-5% extra fee for using my own card for family purchases (groceries, dry cleaning, etc). I prefer when families offer cash, a prepaid card, or add me as an authorized user to a credit card. I communicate all purchases before and save all receipts.
❂ guaranteed hours
If a family cancels a session due to vacation or other conflicts, the session is still paid. This is my source of income, so that financial stability makes my life so much lighter! Often when families are out of town, I’ll work on larger home projects I don’t have time for during regular sessions.
❂ vacation and sick time
After six months with a family, I ask for one week of paid vacation and five paid sick days annually. It often works out for me to take my vacation at the same time as you take yours.
Sessions
❂ structure
I usually book 3-5 hour sessions twice a week. Occasionally I’ll take on more hours with a family, and I’m also open to shorter sessions for neighbors of existing clients or clients who live close to me (inner SE).
I spend the first part of my session on everyday maintenance (dishes, laundry, pickup), then do a walkthrough and jump in on whatever needs doing. As I have ideas for organizational projects, like school keepsake binders or a playroom dress up corner or bins for the pantry, I’ll communicate & we’ll collaborate!
❂ arrival windows
Rather than having a set arrival time, I book arrival windows (i.e., 9-10am). This gives flexibility for myself and for my families (if your family just got back from a camping trip and need extra help unpacking, for example).
❂ quarterly check-ins
Around the first week of each new season, I schedule a check-in conversation (in-person is nice, but sometimes a call is more doable). We’ll go over feedback & ideas, and any upcoming schedule changes.

Nanny Placement
$275
After nannying for almost ten years, I have a great network of stellar providers, and I know all the tricks for finding a great match. I’ll find 3-5 great candidates, call their references, and set them up for interviews. I have a good standard contract you can use, and I can also walk you through payroll services if you’re planning to write off childcare on your taxes. A much more affordable alternative to a nanny placement agency!
